This 3-day Volta adventure takes you through some of Ghana’s most beautiful natural and cultural landmarks. From wildlife encounters at Shai Hills and a relaxing Volta River cruise to mountain hikes, waterfalls, and rich cultural experiences in traditional villages, this trip offers the perfect blend of adventure, nature, and culture before returning to Accra refreshed and inspired.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Accra to Shai Hills Resource Reserve, one of the closest wildlife parks to the capital. Enjoy a guided safari walk where you may spot baboons, antelopes, ostriches, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

Next, we head to the Volta River for a peaceful boat cruise, soaking in the calm waters and lush surroundings. Capture beautiful photos and enjoy the breeze as you relax on the river.

We then stop at the iconic Adomi Bridge, Ghana’s longest bridge, for photos and views of the Volta Lake.

After breakfast, we journey into the highlands to Mount Gemi, offering breathtaking views of surrounding villages and rolling hills.

Next, visit Tafi Bonfie, home of traditional Kente weaving, where you’ll learn about the cultural significance and see skilled weavers at work.

Continue to the famous Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, where friendly and protected monkeys roam freely among visitors—a truly unique and interactive experience.

Begin the day with a hike up Mount Afadzato, Ghana’s highest mountain, rewarding you with panoramic views of the Volta Region.

After the hike, cool off at Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in West Africa. Enjoy the refreshing mist, lush forest walk, and serene natural surroundings.

Later in the afternoon, we begin our journey back to Accra, bringing an unforgettable Volta adventure to a close.
